Introduction : Video Games

The two fields of Animal Studies and Game Studies have developed in recent years alongside one another, both bringing together scholars from diverse disciplines, and both promising insights and productive new approaches that extend far beyond their immediate purview. To date, there has been relatively little interaction between those studying animals and those studying videogames.
